This week, while cooperating in the navigation of the path that leads to our community and nation's healing, and honoring our convictions to exalt the name of Jesus, 3trees will be taking the following steps:

Friday, March 20:  We will receive a tractor-trailer load of food and essential supplies. Barring any delay in delivery, this weekend, we will immediately begin releasing plans for outreach to the elderly, or others who may need food. To help with this cause, you can give through this link 3trees.com/give or mail your gift to PO Box 399, Columbia, KY 42728.

Sunday, March 22:  We will be hosting online worship experiences via Facebook, YouTube and 3trees.com/live. The premiere will be at 9am CST / 10am EST, followed by opportunities to join in at the following central times 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm and eastern times: 12pm, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm.

Wednesday, March 25:  From an in-home setting, we will be hosting an online night of worship and word via Facebook, YouTube and 3trees.com/live, at 6pm CST / 7pm EST.

Here are THREE ways that you can take steps to be the church during this time:

Stay CONNECTED:  Continue to engage with your church family through social media, and online watch parties, while checking for updates and new information regularly. And, when someone comes to mind, reach out to them via call, text, comment, email, or direct message. Check-in with them to see how they are doing, offer to pray and encourage them through the power of Christ-centered relationships. You can also continue to connect with your church family during online worship experiences weekly. As well, we would love to hear from you regarding any needs that you may be experiencing or that you are aware of in our community; care@3trees.com.

Share the CONTENT:  You have a sphere of influence and platforms on social media that God can use in such a time as this. We encourage you to share our church's updates and any new links to worship, message, or ministry content. To bless families and enhance discipleship opportunities, our teams have also placed some excellent resources online for kids and students, which you can share. Don't underestimate your influence; a drip can start a flood.

Submit to CHRIST:  Continue to keep God first in your life. In a time when so many are struggling even to remember what day it is, a time when the disruption has confused all rhythms of life, it is so important to keep first things first. We will continue to build an altar as we pray, seek God's face, humble ourselves before him in the righteousness of Christ, and believe for Heaven to heal our land. You can join us in a private setting at 6am and 8pm (local times) daily.  Please let us know you let us know your prayer requests; prayer@3trees.com.

3TREES CHURCH UPDATE | March 12, 2020

Posted:  Thursday, March 12 (3pm)

Presently there is increased awareness and various public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, we are continuing to monitor this situation, and we are taking a proactive approach to ensure our environments are clean, safe, and that your health and well-being is a top priority.

As other churches have stated so well, we also believe it is essential for us, as Christ-followers, to engage with these concerns in a Christ-like way. While it is crucial to be informed, sensitive and wise in the way we approach this outbreak, it is equally vital that we conduct ourselves in a way that reflects our confidence and trust in our God who offers hope regardless of circumstance. We encourage you to take this as an opportunity to display peace rather than panic, prayer rather than fear.

With this conviction, we will still be meeting this Sunday. Here are some precautionary steps we will take moving forward:

  • We have enhanced our cleaning procedures on all fronts, including both 3treesKIDS and BabySpot. Our children’s classrooms and toys are disinfected after each service by our staff and volunteers at every campus. We are also providing hand sanitizers (as long as supplies last) in visible places throughout our buildings.

  • As you arrive, greeters with friendly smiles will be waving. But we look forward to the opportunity to be back to high-fiving you again soon!

  • During this time, you will notice changes in the way we serve our coffee and pastries as we move away from a self-service format temporarily.

  • We will not be passing offering buckets, but we will make offering stations available to you as you leave. We also encourage you to consider giving online by using our website, accessing the church app, or by mail (PO BOX 399, Columbia, KY 42728).

  • You can also join us online this Sunday at 9am CST / 10am EST & 11am CST / 12PM EST via this link: 3trees.com/live

We encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to refrain from simple actions such as shaking hands, touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with  unwashed hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Also, if you or your children are ill, please stay home and watch our services online. But, if you are sick, we would love to know how to pray for you. Please contact us via prayer@3trees.com.

If you would like more information about the virus and proper prevention measures, we recommend visiting the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website. You can also stay up-to-date about the virus and appropriate prevention measures by visiting: www.kycovid19.ky.gov.

In one final note, we are calling our church to join in prayer at 6 am and 8 pm local time each day in private settings as we invite God to make his presence and grace manifest during this time. Even though you will be praying in solitude, know that hundreds of other people will be joining you in lifting the name of Jesus on behalf of our community, nation, and world.
